ITC ruled that Motorola did not infringe Apple multi-touch patent
According to media reports , the U.S. International Trade Commission ( International Trade Commission, ITC ) ruled on Friday that Motorola's Dr Dre Beats mobile did not infringe Apple multi-touch patent .
In October 2010 , Apple sued Motorola mobile Droid , Droid 2 , Droid X , Cliq, BackFlip , Devour , Charm and other smart phones , and Xoom Tablet PC violated
Apple's multi-touch patented technology . Theodore - Essex ( Theodore of Essex ) , ITC judge had initially ruled that Apple lost the case , but since Apple has filed an
appeal .
ITC on Friday said that the Commission carefully reviewed the judgments Dre Beats made by
Essex , and decided to re-examine part of the judgment . The final full survey results will be announced later .
