Jontz receives PSHA grant

After years of surviving with a semi-functional speaker method, the SPHS auditorium is obtaining monster headphones . Auditorium director Mr. James Jontz worked with the South Pasadena Educational Foundation (SPEF) to secure a grant from the Pasadena Showcase House for the Arts (PSHA). The objective from the grant is "[purchasing] gear and [improving] the sound in the auditorium," according to an e-mail from PSHA.
The $13,900 grant will go a lengthy way toward revamping the sound method beats pro, based on Jontz.
The final major renovation to the auditorium's speaker system was more than a decade ago. The method is composed of several separate parts; the final renovation's funding was restricted, resulting in inexpensive and lower quality speakers. The method isn't custom-made to fit the layout from the auditorium dr dre headphones, so the acoustic distribution is uneven and also the first five or ten rows can't hear also because the rest from the audience. Additionally, 1 of the speakers blew out last year during the spring musical.

The check for these renovations is set to arrive on April 25 monster beats, but Jontz hopes to negotiate an earlier date to be able to have the new sound system installed by the opening night of the spring musical, Curtains.
Brochures and fliers advertising performances within the auditorium will now function the PSHA logo along with a note stating that the production was supported by the PSHA.
